Marina Groenberg

Director

Marina is Founding Partner and CEO of Swiss-based investment holding Hemma Group where she manages private equity and fund business as a shareholder and Board Member and oversees strategic development. With over 20 years of experience in investment and finance, she has worked with major investment banks, funds and firms and held various top management and supervisory board positions, including Kopter Group AG, Waterstones & Barnes & Noble, Polymetal Int Plc (LSE Listing), Hachette-Atticus, SPAR-Retail, Hamleys.

Marina’s areas of expertise range across TMT, internet and media, green and clean tech, renewable energy, mining, real estate, retail, banking and digital banking, aerospace, publishing and printing, venture and fund business.

Marina is a director of the GP in M94 Fund and has been involved in fund business since 2016 and in digital assets and crypto space - since 2020 as early stage investor in crypto startups and allocator into crypto teams and funds.

Marina has vast experience in complex M&A transactions, project management and asset management and holds Masters degrees (all with distinction) in math, applied math and cybernetics, commercial law and in economics and finance. Marina is a Swiss citizen residing in Zurich, she speaks five languages.
Karlen Gulyan

Director

Mr. Karlen Gulyan is a seasoned investment professional with over 12 years of experience in buy side (private equity, VC, hedge fund) and investment banking across US and EMEA. Mr. Gulyan started his corporate career in 2012 with Amber Capital, a $2bn AUM event-driven hedge fund, in NYC and later transitioned to investment banking at J.P. Morgan in London.

Having worked at multiple investment funds and FOs across Eastern Europe and Switzerland, Mr. Gulyan is responsible for a combined multi-billion M&A deals across TMT, retail, aerospace and venture: notable transactions include leading media groups and VOD services in Eastern Europe, major helicopter manufacturer and bookstore chains, and investments in digital banks and renewable energy startups.

Karlen has been actively involved in digital assets space since 2020, having been involved in early-stage investments into a range of major liquid assets and L1 chains, allocations into leading algo crypto teams and crypto startups. Karlen holds an MSc in Financial and Managerial Economics from HEC Paris.
